My Story

Running has always been more than a sport for me. It has been an outlet, a life line, a source of joy, and something I have learned so much from. I have learned discipline, self confidence, strength and power. I have not only grown physically, but also mentally and emotionally from this sport. 

I have been running for more than half my life. It began as an outlet for my emotional self and then evolved into something that showed me my strength and made me feel limitless. In my late twenties, I suffered a significant injury that temporarily separated me from this sport. It was a very difficult time and it made me appreciate the role running plays in my life even more.


I recovered, I rehabbed and I rebuilt. 

Since then, my focus has shifted to how to stay healthy and prepared to meet the demands running asks of our bodies. I have spent a lot of time learning about proper form, nutrition and recovery. My goal as a coach is to teach these philosophies to my athletes. I strive to help them understand proper training in order to keep them strong and injury free.
